Ah, another beautiful morning! I lay in bed on my second morning in Poarta not really believing where I was. Then I heard the clip-clop of a horse. I dashed to the window as quickly as my sleepy old body would carry me and looked out. "Quick, get the camera!" By the time I was ready, the lilac bush had jumped up between the horse and I, but at least I got the cart, which was loaded with a cement mixer. I hadn't seen one of these machines for a long time. I'm not sure why, but I only seem to see cement trucks at home. After I took the picture I realized I was leaning out the window. I am so used to being shut in by screens that I'm amazed there are places where they are not needed. I can be inside and outside at the same time! Where are all the bugs?
