Bucharest, 16 September

We wandered over to the Frederick and Cecilia Cuţescu Storck House, which is now a museum. From a sign: Built by the architect A. Clavel, to the designs of Mr. and Mrs. Storck, in an English-Flemish style. The Pompeian red painted facade exhibits stone ornaments sculpted by Frederick Storck, while the interior was painted by Cecilia Cuţescu-Storck. A museum was organized here in 1951, displaying both the works of the three sculptors in the Storck family (Karl, Carol and Frederick) and of Cecilia Cuţescu-Storck, as well as their art collections.
