Since I was here on my first trip, I wanted to check on the "Monument of the Heroes for the Freedom of the People and of the Motherland, for Socialism"—inaugurated in 1963—to see if it really is as huge as I remembered. It's original name certainly was huge! Now it is called the "Carol Park Mausoleum".
