I went back to the old section of Bucharest and was surprised to come across Lupa, the she-wolf nursing the founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus. This replica of the Roman Lupa Capitolina was given to Bucharest when celebrating 25 years of King Carol's reign in 1906. The last time I was here, she and her two young charges were up north of the university. She was moved here—her original location—in 2010.
